Victorian Porcelain
I'm searching for two porcelain dolls my grandmother me in the late 70's early 80's?
They were two girls, one had a blue flowery dress the other with a purple flowery dress. They had hats and corsets, underneath their body's were cloth and they had black porcelain shoes, They are different from the other victorian style porcelain dolls that I've seen in that the porcelain is white not colored at all and their faces are thinner and their bodies are longer. They are not on stands. My grandmother always ordered limited edition items and I'm thinking these dolls came from Readers Digest. Anyway, I regret not having mine as they got lost after I moved away from home and am desperately seeking something similar for my daughter. By the way the dresses were cloth, not shiny at all and the hats were of the same material. There was a blonde and brunette they were sisters I think and even had names. If anyone at all knows what I'm talking about please tell me where I can find them. Have mental picture, that's the best I can do.
