Mirrored Dresser

How much does the Drexel Profile by John Van Koert is valued for a dresser with mirror and two night stands?
Its in mint condition just because of age. I was wondering what's the value of my grandmother's dresser with mirror and two night stands. The item numbers from the 1960's catalog are K2 (for dresser and mirror) and K27 (night stands).
A lot depends on the market you are in and your connections. There are people who collect Drexel who value it for the design and condition while others just appreciate "vintage" furniture from the 60's. The former will pay a premium price where the latter are merely seeking a thrift store purchase. Unfortunately, the latter are more plentiful and in this economy more prevalent than the collector. And it also depends on what your intentions are.
You can hire an appraiser for insurance purposes who can tell you finding a replacement is becoming a fine art because they are difficult to find in mint condition to replace. But, you can also find a consignment store interested in earning their commission who will give you a price with the intention of moving it out of their inventory and into their bank account with little in your pocket. Another route is to work with interior designers who have clients seeking what you have for the best estimate of what the market is willing to pay. So, a lot depends on what your intentions are and what market you are in. When I was in LA, there were many homes up in the hills desirous of furniture from this era seeking sources, but now I am in San Diego where it is simply considered a thrift store steal. In this economy, I personally would hold on to it because those of us who appreciate Drexel aren't letting loose so even collectors are looking for bargains.
