we die we will have to wait for this time to come before being judged and sent to Heaven or Hell?

The Bible says during the 'end days' the dead will be risen up and judged. Does that then mean that when we die we will have to wait for this time to come before being judged and sent to Heaven or Hell? or after death do we go right to Heaven/Hell

The incorrigibly wicked die forever.
They are not kept in God's memory for a resurrection:

"Jehovah [God] is guarding all those loving him,
But all the wicked ones he will ANNIHILATE." --Psalm 145:20

The "lake of fire" is explained to be 'the second [final] death':

". . . This means the second death, the lake of fire." --Revelation 20:14

The rest of the dead *symbolically await* a resurrection after Armageddon,
as death itself is the total cessation of life:

"You will . . . return to the ground, for out of it you were taken.
For dust you are and to dust you will return." --Genesis 3:19

". . . He goes back to his ground;
In that day his thoughts do perish." --Psalm 146:4

"The soul that is sinning---it itself will die." --Ezekiel 18:4

Those resurrected from the memorial tombs after Armageddon,
will actually be recreated during the resurrection,
having paid the price for their prior sins by having died:

"The wages sin pays is death."---Romans 6:23

"He who has died has been acquitted from his sin."---Romans 6:7
('Acquitted' = "declared not guilty; legally blameless".)

First they will be educated about God's purposes & requirements,
and then they will decide whether they chose to obey or rebel:

Yes . . . there are *some* who are resurrected to life in heaven before the earthly resurrection takes place. These are what Christ called "the little flock" at Luke 12:32. This group is resurrected before Armageddon, because they are faithful Christians who are specially assigned to rule as king-priests alongside Jesus Christ, in God's heavenly kingdom. . .

The ones whom they will rule over --those whom God protects through Armageddon, as well as those resurrected to life after Armageddon-- Christ called "other sheep which are not of this fold" (John 10:16), and, "the great crowd" (Revelation 7:9) . . .

The concept of 'eternal torment' is alien to our Creator.
It is instead the type of thing which his main opponent --Satan the Devil-- enjoys:
